A Holiday Gift That Kids Will Totally Dig

Extreme Sandbox’s special offer Kiddie CAT package lets kids try operating heavy equipment with onboard guidance from professional instructors

HASTINGS, Minn. (Dec. 11, 2014) – If the child on your holiday shopping list loves big trucks and construction machinery, then Extreme Sandbox’s special offer Kiddie CAT experience is sure to draw squeals of delight. The new special offer packages available through Feb. 1 allow kids to not only check out excavators, bulldozers and skid steers up close, but also climb into the cabs and help operate the equipment with a professional instructor.

Two package options are available: One hour tour and experience for one child for $195; two hour tour and experience for up to five children for $495. Both options provide each guest with a tour of the facility and the parked equipment, about 30 minutes of guided onboard time with a skilled instructor in one or two pieces of equipment, and a commemorative photo with the equipment.

“So many kids love trucks and machinery, and some are nearly obsessed. My idea for starting Extreme Sandbox was inspired by a comment from one of my sons on how cool it would be try operating heavy equipment. So now, I am really excited to offer these super cool new packages just for kids,” said Randy Stenger, Extreme Sandbox owner.
